WCCE 2009
During the 9th IFIP World Conference on Computers in Education (WCCE 2009), I had the privilege to be part of the staff as a technical support member and responsible for the video conference connections with external participants. This prestigious event, hosted by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) and organized by UFRGS, UFSC, and IDESTI, marked a significant milestone as it was the first WCCE to be held in South America. Under the theme "Education and technology for a better world," WCCE 2009 aimed to shed light on and explore various perspectives within this field. The conference encompassed all levels of formal education, as well as informal learning environments, addressing the societal aspects and challenges faced by developing countries. My role as part of the technical support team was crucial in ensuring smooth and uninterrupted video conference connections with participants from around the world. This involved managing the necessary equipment, troubleshooting tec
